Guest Lovitt House

The exquisite and unique Italianate home known as Guest Lovitt House was a wedding gift built in 1874 by a wealthy shipowner, Captain John W Lovitt, and was given to his daughter Mary Ellen and her husband George Guest. This charming and absolutely gorgeous property has been tastefully decorated with period style furnishings.

Guest Lovitt House has four spacious rooms, including a two room suite, and they all have en-suite bathrooms for your convenience. You are within walking distance of shops, great restaurants offer superb lunches and dinners, the waterfront and ferry terminal is also nearby. In the afternoon you can enjoy tea in the widow's watch, while enjoying the spectacular views.

Daily at Guest Lovitt House you will be served a delicious homemade breakfast, served between 7h00 for the early risers and 9h00 just in case you want to sleep in a little longer or enjoy a soak in the fabulous tub.

For relaxation, the awesome gardens are a fabulous way to start, you can walk around and listen to the chirping of the birds going about their business. There is a golf course nearby for all the golf fans, a lovely beach where you can enjoy many wonderful watersports and well you will have to come and explore the rest of the wonderful place to find out for yourself.
