Set on a piling structure over Saanich Inlet, the adorable private cottage is accessed by means of a long flight of stairs behind the owners' home. The lovely upgraded cottage exudes an old world charm, perfect for the couple seeking a romantic getaway or an individual looking for seclusion. Unique and comfortable, the cottage comprises of an open-plan main room with sumptuous queen bed, dining area, a quaint kitchenette with a toaster, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, and a cozy reading alcove overlooking the calm bay. The Boathouse has a separate stunning bathhouse located a few steps from the cottage, which includes a lavish brass and glass walk-in shower and pedestal basin.

Guests of The Boathouse are provided with all the makings for a delicious inclusive Continental breakfast which is placed in the cottage's fridge the night before. The splendid covered porch is a lovely spot to relax and relish the views, or to enjoy a game of darts on the board. Just below the cottage is a floating dock, ideal for swimming and sunbathing, which doubles as a splendid sun deck providing awesome views of the picturesque surroundings. A small dinghy is reserved for exclusive use by guests of The Boathouse, wonderful to row to the nearby spectacular Butchart Gardens, restaurants, and Tod Inlet's shale beaches for a picnic.
