Situated in the heart of the Pacific Coast Temperate Rain Forest is the exquisite Birds Bay Retreat, which overlooks the quiet Spring Cove and has spectacular ocean and mountain views.

Birds Bay Retreat has two luxurious types of accommodation to offer its guests, one being a two bedroomed Beach House and the other is a one roomed Shore Cabin rental. The Beach House has one bedroom with two double beds and a loft bedroom with a queen sized bed, a well equipped kitchen, a full bathroom, large living area, a sundeck with a gas barbecue and a lovely fire pit on the beach for those warm evenings.

The cottage at Birds Bay Retreat is constructed on logs which are over the water, and at high tides the water goes under the building to meet with the waterfall from behind. The one roomed secluded cabin is self contained, with a queen sized bed, a bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dining area, a sundeck and an outdoor barbecue.

The cabins are located near the entrance to the Wild Pacific Trail, with well groomed paths allowing you to enjoy a beautiful breathtaking hike through natures splendor. If you have always wanted to learn how to surf, there are some surfing camps where you can be educated. Other great things to do in the area are, fishing, whale or bear watching, golfing, boating and the famous Pacific Rim Summer Festival in Summer and the Whale Festival in March.
