David Thompson Resort offers great accommodation for everyone, with a wide variety of accommodation types to choose from, such as a room in the Motel, hiring an RV, camping in a tent, renting one of the cabins or sleeping in the DTR B&B which is hostel style accommodation. The Motel offers single beds, double beds, queen sized beds, king sized beds and suites with full bathrooms, coffee/tea making facilities, wireless internet and there is a laundromat nearby where you can get your washing done. The RV's are equipped with a kitchen, fridge, stove, microwave, sink, bathroom and there is a barbecue available. The campgrounds have pull through, fire pits, picnic tables for your convenience, there are treed lots, firewood, washrooms, laundry and showers. The cabins are equipped with a queen-sized bed, sofa, propane fireplace, propane lights, a firepit, bedding, towels, a picnic table and a barbeqce. However the cabins do not have running water or indoor facilities, but there is an outdoor privy and the cabin is within walking distance of the shower house in the campground. Lastly there is the DTR B&B which is great for the larger crowds.

The restaurant at David Thompson Resort offers delicious breakfast, lunches and dinners. Otherwise you could enjoy a meal at the campsite on the roaring fire or you could pack a picnic basket and venture into the unknown trying to find that perfect spot. There is a little shop in the main building where you can buy some snacks or supplies. The Resort also offers great wedding, reunion and functions venues with everything you will need. And there is a pub where you can enjoy evening entertainment.

There is plenty to do in the area for everyone such as, enjoying some time on the Rocket Playground, playing volleyball, horse shoes, frisbee and mini-golf. Or you could enjoy fishing at the local lake, hiking in the gorgeous surrounds, mountain biking or going on a horse ride. This is a superb place where you can relax in the amazing setting and at the same time there is ample to do.
