Lake Louise

What you will find here is the best powder snow in the region which in turn offers visitors to Lake Louise a number of exciting winter leisure pursuits; these include the likes of ice climbing, skiing, snowmobiling, and snowboarding. For instance, the drive between Lake Louise and the Columbia Icefield is known as the Icefields Parkway - well-renowned to be one of the most scenic and picturesque drives in North America, made even more immense and spectacular when viewed during the icier winter months.
As the weather heats up and moves into summer, Lake Louise's bird life and plant life become something to behold, while Lake Herbert is terrific for a dip after completing one of the many hiking trails around the area. Other summer time pursuits include the likes of horseback riding, golf, picnicking, and canoeing on the glassy waters of Lake Moraine.
