Experience astonishing diverse landscapes, lush forests, towering glacier-fed peaks, tumbling waterfalls, and an abundance of wild and bird life found in the spectacular Kootenay National Park, Canada. Located on Highway 93 in the centre of the park, Kootenay Park Lodge offer guests a secluded getaway within serene surroundings.

Relax in the cozy, adorable cabins of the historic Kootenay Park Lodge, harmoniously blending in with the scenic beauty of the Canadian Rockies. Cabins feature queen / twin beds with sumptuous goose down duvets, bathrooms with showers, bar fridges, and coffee / tea making facilities. Several of the 10 delightful cabins include a fireplace, a two burner propane stove and microwave. For cabins not equipped with these appliances, rental options are available. Cabins 3, 4, and 8 have a separate bedroom, Cabins 3 and 4 feature a fireplace in the spacious sitting area, and Cabin 3 has a full kitchen. All the other cabins have an open-plan bedroom / sitting room. Unwind on the splendid covered porches after a tiring day of activities, or play with the pooch on the grassy area surrounding the cabins. No smoking is allowed in the cabins.

Sample delectable authentic home-style cooking in Kootenay Park Lodge's fantastic licensed dining room. The main lodge houses an intimate library, office, and Visitors Information Centre. Fresh coffee, sandwiches, snacks, unique gifts and clothing is available at the on-site general store. Kootenay Park Lodge is open seasonally from May to September and is completely self sufficient with a water well and generators for electricity supply. There are no televisions and telephones to distract guests from the tranquil environment; however a radio link is available at the office.

Explore the many hiking trails, fish the rivers and streams, kayak on the lakes, and gasp at the spectacular cascading waterfalls and fascinating color splashed mineral Paintpots in the Marvel Canyon area. There are a number of excellent picnic sites in the area pleasantly situated beside creeks and rivers. Kootenay Park Lodge is private and enchanting, a wonderful venue for ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation.
