Sundance Lodges, Kananaskis is nestled in the gorgeous Canadian Rockies and has spectacular views and offers a unique style of accommodation. The Lodge is a mere 45 minutes from Calgary and Banff in the Kananaskis Valley.

The unique Sioux Tipi's are made of authentic canvas and hand painted with native-style designs. The tipi's each have their own site and is surrounded by
forest. You are to bring your own bedding and camping supplies or if you want you can rent it from the Lodge. Inside of each one is a wooden floor, wood-framed beds with foam mattresses, a small kerosene heater and a lantern, and outside is a picnic table and a fire pit with a half-grill for your cooking. There are large tipi's which have one double bed and two single beds(sleeps 4) and small tipi's with two single beds(sleeps 2). Then the Trapper's tent are cozy and each has its own site. There are also 18 units available as well as unserviced RV sites for those who own their own RV.
Whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner time, you can enjoy a great meal right outside your doorstep, or you could make up a picnic basket and go on a lovely stroll in the area, finding the perfect spot for your meal. The area offers fantastic views and great picnic spots to enjoy that romantic feast.
The area offers plenty to do, such as volley ball, rock climbing, bike riding, soccer, football, badminton, horseshoes, fishing off the banks of the Kananaskis River or in the Beaver Ponds, great hiking trails, mountain biking, horse riding, white water rafting, kayaking, golfing for the golfers and day hiking trips are available. There is definitely something fun for everyone to do, and plenty of relaxation.
