Bear Hill Lodge

Jasper is the perfect location for your next holiday. Drenched in the beauty of imposing mountains and stunning lakes, this charming little town is home to mountain sheep, bears, wolves, elk and mountain goats; these can often be seen when simply driving down the road. Established in 1907, Jasper National Park is the largest national park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, and is the most northerly of the four Rocky Mountain parks, which together comprise a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

As a town, Jasper has much for the visiting tourist to do and see – head over to one of the local museums to learn more about the town or check out the Lazy Dog Acres Petting Farm, where you can pet or even hug over 50 types of animal. Parks and Gardens are a must see when visiting here, with a scenic boat trip to Spirit Island a popular choice. The Miette Hot Springs also provide guests with a chance to soak up the atmosphere while relaxing and enjoying the scenery.

Nestled in a quiet corner of Jasper, Bear Hill Lodge offers peaceful and tranquil accommodation. The lodge’s enviable location affords easy walking access to the town's shops, restaurants and amenities while providing a comfortable refuge to return to after an active day enjoying the many attractions Jasper National Park has to offer.

Accommodation at Bear Hill Lodge consists of:

Bear Hill Lodge is situated on two acres of open, forest and offers 39 units for accommodation. This includes lodge rooms, individual cabins, duplexes and four-plexes. All feature modern amenities in charming, nicely equipped rooms and cabins, as well as cozy duvets on comfortable beds, full bath with tub and shower, and coffee maker with coffee supplied. Roomy modern suites are spacious enough for a family gathering while our smaller Forest Cottages provide a unique, cozy alternative for a night or two in the mountains.

Bear Hill Lodge offers plenty of space to picnic and barbeque, or to sit and enjoy the ambience of the mountains. Walkers and shoppers will find easy access to hiking trails and children will find play opportunities in the wooded area around the property or five minutes away in a nearby playground. Picnic tables are available throughout the property.

The spa area at Bear Hill Lodge is situated in a beautiful glass-walled solarium so you can enjoy it any time, rain or shine. It is the ideal place to soak your tired muscles after a day spent scouring the Canadian Rockies. The spa includes a large jetted hot tub, sauna, change room and shower area.
