We are located on the famous Lighthouse Route which is known for its scenery. Since the early 1850's the Anchorage House and Cottages have stood, and today the property has a rich history. Not that you would be able to tell by looking at these immaculately maintained and renovated cottages and holiday homes!

There are many different styles of cottages to choose from at Anchorage House and Cottages. All units are self catering and have fully equipped kitchens. We also have four guest rooms/suites in the original Inn building. Breakfasts are available on request. Light up a fire and snuggle with your loved ones before retiring early. After all, there is so much to do and see here you want to be well rested! You might even be lucky enough to catch one of our magnificent sunrises.

Whether it's a romantic getaway or a family affair - Anchorage House and Cottages are the ideal base from which to explore this scenic area and enjoy the attractions. The Birdlife here is spectacular and we have many birds delight birdwatchers. There are also many great hiking trails in the area. Our new heated swimming pool offers guests the chance to take advantage of the water no matter what the temperature. If you want to explore the surrounding regions then Halifax is a great day outing.
