At Icefield Chalet you will find yourself surrounded by nothing but snow and gorgeous mountains. This terrain is suitable for all levels of skiers from amateur to the professional and the stunning gladed runs are nearby for days when the visibility is poor. The Icefield Chalet is located on the Freshfield Range just 10 minutes, by helicopter flight, from Donald which is situated near the lovely town of Golden.

The spectacular chalet offers its guest warmth and comfort in an awesome setting. There are ten bedrooms sleeping two guests per room, running cold water, an indoor night toilet, electric lights, a wood stove, propane heat, two full stoves and a cold room for food storage.

The dining room is a fantastic place where everyone can get together and enjoy a great meal, discussing their adventurous day on the slopes. The large deck area is a superb place to unwind and watch the sun setting over the breathtaking mountain peaks.

A playground for everyone to enjoy, from skiing right outside the door to enjoying the major slopes in the background. The area offers superb skiing adventures and afterwards you can enjoy some time relaxing those muscles in the sauna located nearby.
