Sorcerer Lodge is a remote backcountry lodge which is located in the stunning Selkirk Mountain Range. Here skiers will have the opportunity to cross glaciers and climb a selection of 9000’ to nearly 11000’ peaks, including Mount Iconoclast(one of the highest in the Selkirks).
Accommodation at Sorcerer Lodge consists of:
Sorcerer Lodge is built on a cliff area next to a body of water, offering you a unique place of accommodation and a spectacular view. The lodge is three stories high, with the first floor being the entrance, drying room, fully equipped kitchen, lovely living room, a sun room and a dining area. Then on the second floor there are four separate bedrooms and the third floor is a funky loft area with ample room and several semi-private sleeping quarters.
Once you have created your absolutely delicious meal or barbecued meal you can enjoy it on the large deck area outside in the sunny afternoon. On the rather cold days you may want to move indoors infront of the wood stove which helps to warm the entire area.
The wood heated sauna is a great place to rejuvenate, located next to the Sorcerer Lodge, and has its own changing room for your convenience. There are some truly exquisite skiing slopes to explore in the winter, as well as great hiking spots in the warmer summer months. Awesome lakes nearby offer great swimming experiences and there are plenty of rocks to climb for the adventurous. This is a great place to get away from it all and to just be at one with nature.
