The spectacular Salmon River House Country Inn was built in 1850 as a settler's cottage and was eventually opened to the public in 1920. It is located on the Eastern Shore, Nova Scotia on the way to Cape Breton. Here you will have direct access to the ocean and all its watersports.

Salmon River House Country Inn has seven rooms and one cottage available. Each of the rooms have a television, clock radio, bathroom, some have a sitting area and superb ocean views. The cottage has a fireplace, bring romance to your life, a king sized bed, bathroom with a soaker tub, a table with two chairs, a television, DVD player and a coffeemaker.

Salmon River House Country Inn offers its business guests a private meeting room with a fireplace, for those chilly days. The room has everything you will need to conduct your all important business. If you are hungry you can visit the Lobster Shack with its mouthwatering dishes, fabulous views and great service.

During the summer days, you can enjoy playing around in the surf, surf the waves, relax on the beach while listening to the sea pounding against the soft sand, hike one of the hiking trails, play a great game of golf at the nearby course, venture out to sea on a boat cruise or go cycling. You will be kept very busy with all the activities the area has to offer.
