Country Encounters offers two different types of accommodation, the comforts of the bed and breakfast or you could enjoy the self catering and fully furnished guest home. The home is large enough to accommodate four adults in its two bedrooms and there is a double futon available for those extra guests. The fully equipped kitchen has settings for eight guests and is a great place to create that superb meal. The guest home also has a barbecue, large private yard and patio area for entertaining.

The B&B at Country Encounters has three individually decorated rooms, with the Garden Room taking you back in time to the Victoria era, the Twenties room has been recreated in the 1920’s style and the Arts & Crafts room being set in the 1870 to 1920’s. The bed and breakfast has a splendid ambiance and offers its guest plenty of comfort. There is a main bath with jetted tub and shower, a guest lounge with cable TV and a VCR, a furnished patio area for relaxing, and your breakfast will include hot dishes such as eggs, bacon, pancakes, freshly baked goodies and coffee/tea/fruit juice.

There is ample to do near are far from Country Encounters, such as skiing at the local Pass Powder Keg or at Castle Mountain Resort(45 mins drive East) and Fernie Ski Hill(45 mins drive West). Visiting the historical sites is really very intriguing and educational, there are tour guides available to assist you. ATV enthusiasts can escape in the Crowsnest Pass and the golfers can enjoy the challenging mountain course.
