In 1891, Canadian Pacific Railway worker John Niblick declared that the area 104km south of Calgary and 90km north of Lethbridge on Highway 2 was to be called Clare's Home after his beloved wife Clare. Even though the name has gone through variations, Claresholm undoubtedly has retained its charm and warm hospitality, making the town an ideal spot for your next vacation.
Breathe in fresh air, indulge your senses with breath-taking mountain views and let Claresholm help you put the spring back into your step.
