Amiskwi Lodge

Situated in the beautiful Blaeberry River Valley, Amiskwi Lodge perches on the edge of a plateau surrounded by alpine meadows. The lodge is located above the Amiskwi Pass just outside the boundary of the awesome Yoho National Park, to the west of the Golden community, British Columbia. Relax and enjoy the solitude of the backcountry far away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, and gasp at the incredible views of the Mummery Glaciers, sparkling lakes and mountain peaks at Amiskwi Lodge.

The splendid log built lodge comprises of 4 private upstairs sleeping areas with comfortable beds to repose and restore energy after a great day outdoors. Breathtaking mountain views can be relished from the large windows or from the spacious deck area which is a fantastic spot to enjoy the panoramic vistas of the rolling hills and gullies. The rooms feature propane and solar lighting and are ideal for groups of 12 but can accommodate up to 16 guests comfortably.

The main floor has an inviting fully equipped kitchen with a propane stove, oven and barbecue where guests can gather around a stunning handmade table and enjoy meals and experiences, truly a wonderful area for conversation and socializing. At the end of the day, guests can relax next to the crackling wood stove fireplace. Enjoy quiet time in the great sun room which provide awe-inspiring views, and after a tiring day on the slopes or hiking, ease tense muscles in the traditional wood fired sauna. Amiskwi Lodge has a separate room set up as a drying area and a workshop where guests can tweak their equipment. Guests are transported to and from the lodge by helicopter during the winter period.

The grandeur and magnificence of nature surrounds Amiskwi Lodge beckoning guests to explore the rugged peaks and wildflower drenched pastures. Vast expanses of skiing terrain covered with deep powder snow await guests to enjoy skiing, snowboarding in winter, and hiking during summer. Enjoy swimming in the lakes and play a round of golf at the excellent Golden Golf Course. At Amiskwi Lodge life is simple yet comfortable, feral but astonishing, a wilderness paradise where guests can tune into nature and enjoy restful accommodation.
