Oh Canada eh? The name just says it all! A musical celebration of all things Canadian, it was conceptualized by Niagara travel industry entrepreneurs Jim Cooper and Ross Robinson. At the time there was no authentic Canadian entertainment for visitors to the Rockies and Niagara Falls regions. So, a business plan was quickly put on the table, Canadian music research was undertaken, auditions were held and voila! A Canadian legend was born!
The Oh Canada, eh? Dinner Show’s first home in 1994 was a former movie theatre and office transformed into a world class restaurant. Word quickly spread and Oh Canada, eh? was awarded "Attraction of the Year" in 1994, 1995, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003 & 2004. In 2001, due to popular demand a second venue was created in the Canadian Rockies to cater to visitors wishing to experience Canadian music, performed by multi-talented Canadian performers while dining on mouth watering Canadian cuisine.
Singing lumberjacks and Mounties, hockey players and Anne of Green Gables (alongside a host of other beloved Canadian characters) serve you dinner as the show unfolds around you. The show caters for both adults and children, ensuring that the entire family fully enjoy a truly exuberant entertainment experience.
Both dinner show venues in Canmore and Niagara Falls are conveniently located near upmarket hotels and tourist attractions. Tickets can be purchased online or at the venues themselves. To quote a line from the show – “Canada sure is something to sing about!”
